Simpson & Simpson Accounting, LLC is a family/veteran owned accounting firm run by Josh and Monica Simpson. Josh and Monica first met at Kennesaw State University and started dating shortly after. The next year Monica attained her accounting degree. Josh, still fresh from a deployment in Iraq was fascinated by all the job offers Monica was getting from her newly gained accounting degree. Josh had always loved the study of money dating back to his childhood when his father showed him how to inventory his coin collection using an old DOS based computer.

Simpson & Simpson Accounting, LLC is a family/veteran owned business run by Josh and Monica Simpson. Josh and Monica first met at Kennesaw State University and started dating shortly after. The next year Monica attained her accounting degree. Josh, still fresh from a deployment in Iraq was fascinated by all the job offers Monica was getting from her newly gained accounting degree. Josh had always loved the study of money dating back to his childhood when his father showed him how to inventory his coin collection using an old DOS based computer.

So naturally, Josh was also intrigued by the structure and technical challenges of accounting. Josh graduated top of his class, landed a position at Ernst & Young LLP (1 of the big 4 accounting firms) and became a licensed CPA. Monica continued to excel in corporate accounting making her way from a staff position to management. Her work ethic, consistency, and leadership skills helped her climb the ladder quickly.

Josh is grateful for what he learned in the public accounting/corporate world but had a much larger vision. This vision is to run an accounting firm with the comrade and straight forwardness learned from military service while maintaining professionalism and giving top notch service.

Our company is not here to make a quick dollar, but instead to build lasting relationships in which the client can receive assistance in the areas of tax, accounting, benefit planning, and financial consulting.
